It's cold, raining and downright miserable here in Adelaide today! Spring seems to have been overtaken with the gloomiest weather we've had in a while! So in order to brighten up the day, I had to share this gorgeous, sunny, beautiful spring Bird In Hand Wedding with you all.

The lovely couple today is another one of my absolute favourites from last season. From our very first meeting, I just knew I was going to get along with these two so well and I was so happy they chose me as their wedding photographer. Sam and Hannah met 10 years ago through mutual friends but have only been together for the past 3.5 years. Sam proposed to Hannah after they had been together for a few years. He certainly gets top marks when it comes to his proposal too! He arranged “a girls night” with Hannah’s friends who all let Hannah think they were the ones arranging it. As Sam works away in the mines, Hannah thought he was away for work. So went to the Grand Hotel to stay the night with "the girls". She picked up her room key from the desk, went up to the room, opened the door and there stood Sam.. Candles everywhere, champagne, music playing. Hannah was so surprised (and happy of course!!) Sam then got down on one knee and asked Hannah to marry him. Hannah said It was just perfect and she could not have been happier.

Their wedding day was absolutely perfect. A sunny 28 degree November day up in the Adelaide Hills. It just doesn't get much better than that! I think no matter how the weather played out though, you would not have been able to wipe the smiles off their faces the whole day. Their ceremony was so emotional and beautiful, it was so clear just how much love these two have for each other. It was also so lovely to see how they included Hannah's Dad into their wedding day who had sadly passed away. Sam and Hannah loved Bird In Hand winery as their wedding venue and had nothing but kind words to say about all the staff!
