Hello again!

Now that I have my new website up and running it is time for me to share some absolutely amazing weddings I have had the pleasure of photographing over the past year!

Starting with two of the kindest, loveliest souls you will ever meet: Josh and Halie. There is so much I could say about these two! You may remember them from this engagement session I posted a little while ago.

Josh and Halie were great friends before they decided to give dating a go and I’m so glad they did! The love and respect they so clearly have for each other was so special to see and I could not help but enjoy every single minute I spent with them. On their wedding day you could not wipe the smiles from their faces the whole day, there was just so much joy and happiness everywhere! Their day was blessed with incredible weather and the only down fall they said was that the day went too quickly!

Oh and their proposal story was so cute, I have to share it with you...

Josh and Halie had been going out for a few years when one Tuesday evening Josh randomly ask Halie out on a dinner date. Not thinking anything of it, Halie agreed. They had a lovely dinner together and all was going well. Until on the way home Josh started to do a u turn insisting he needed to go back to the shearing shed and pack up a few pieces of machinery from the day’s work. Halie was not very impressed! Upon arriving at the shearing shed she stated Josh ‘do not turn the car off as I'm not coming in!' Josh however managed to insisted that he needed her help and finally convinced her to get out of the car. And boy was she glad she did! As she walked in to the shearing shed there were 500 tea candles lit around the whole shed!! There was also a hand made table and chairs with champagne and a chocolate fondue and in a love heart made out of petals there was a beautiful engagement ring. Josh got down on one knee (while totally ignoring the fact that his foot was on fire from a tea candle!!!!) and asked Halie to marry him. Halie happily said yes and Josh was then able to attend to the fire on his foot! :)

From Halie "My dress was from Bridal on Pulteney in the city. I didn't really know what I wanted in a dress until the girls recommended I try on the dress. On the rack it was probably not something I would have chosen but I trusted the girls in the shop and tried it on. They definitely know their stuff as I knew it was the dress for me as soon as I got it on. I walked out to show my mum and Sister and I got a very big nod of approval from them too. I would highly recommend Bridal on Pulteney to any brides to be."
